About Little Farmer’s Cay

A jewel in some of the clearest and most vibrant water in the world, Little Farmer’s Cay is an established community and boating destination in Exuma 365-island chain. The island is just 68 acres, less than two miles in length and has a population of approximately 50 to 70 people.

Little Farmer’s Cay is also home to abundant wildlife, including exotic birds, sea turtles, dolphins, sharks and tropical fish. Deep sea caves and coral reefs are nearby for world-class diving and snorkeling.

The island’s 2,800-foot runway benefits from a charter flight twice per week on Flamingo Air, leaving from the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau. This airline flies to Staniel Cay every day, with optional stopovers on Little Farmer’s Cay, upon request. The runway is also open to private planes and helicopters.

Little Farmer's Cay

By boat, Little Farmer’s Cay is about 15 minutes from Staniel Cay, 40 minutes from George Town and just a few minutes from Musha Cay, David Copperfield’s famous, ultra-exclusive resort. Copperfield’s island is just one of many celebrities and high-net-worth individuals that own land in the area.

The island’s proximity makes it a popular stop for boaters and yachtsmen. During the first week of February, the island lights up for the world-famous Farmer’s Cay Regatta, attracting hundreds of vessels from near and far.
